Giorgos and Stavroula married on Spetses, a beautiful island in the Saronic Gulf of Greece. The couple wanted their day to be “the best party ever” and planned the celebrations from their home in England. We love Stavroula’s delicately embellished gown and cathedral veil, as well as her elegant bow-heeled Louboutins. Thanasis Kaiafas was there to capture the day and has a few more details for us below.

“Giorgos and Stavroula worked really hard for months in the run-up to the wedding. Guests flew in from from England, Dubai, and of course Greece, and the hospitality they were offered on their arrival was unbelievable. The first day started gloriously with a beach party at Kaiki Beach Bar and ended with a fabulous pre-wedding party at Booze Bar at the old port. Everybody had a great time– a little pre-taste of what would happen the following day…  And the great day came. The preparations of the bride and the bridegroom took place at Poseidonion Grand Hotel, a majestic, Cote d’ Azur style hotel, and in the peaceful atmosphere of Economou Mansion respectively with the wedding ceremony held in the monastery of St. Nicholas. The bride was very elegant in her Loukia gown and her Louboutin shoes, and the church had been beautifully decorated by Aristea the florist who had also prepared the hand-made signs and the cute “thank-you” bags with little gifts for the guests. She had also arranged for a lute player for the ceremony. The day came to a close with a fantastic wedding party at Kaiki. The third day included photographing the newly weds in the Poseidonion suite and in a traditional part of the Hora – a suitable epilogue to two unforgettable days.”
