I first came across the beautiful work of Jannie Baltzer through Sandra Aberg (watch this space, we will be featuring one of her weddings very soon!), a Copenhagen based photographer. While browsing Sandra’s gorgeous blog, I came across this absolutely stunning collection of unique wedding veils and headpieces, very beautifully handcrafted using flowers, Preciosa crystals and pearls. The designer behind the work was fellow Copenhagen based designer, Jannie  Baltzer. Inspired by 1920’s Hollywood and French Bohemianism of the early 1900’s, all of her creations are one of a kind as she uses French and Edwardian lace combined with one off vintage finds. I am hopelessly in love with her bohemian inspired side veils.

Above is the Alina, a beautiful organza flower attached to soft french tulle and adorned with beautiful pearls. The Celine Veil below is also made of french tulle but the ostrich feathers at the end give a very whimsy and delicate look.

Beautiful Elisa below is such a striking head piece and I love the delicate nature of the veil sitting prettily over the eyes. The flowers are hand made using chiffon and French lace and are finished with Preciosa pearls.

The Camille (below left) is an absolute beauty and makes the most perfect headpiece for the bride with long hair. To it’s right and below are the Vivian, one in gold and both worn different ways – ideal for longer locks.

These birdcage veils, the Sophia in gold on the left, the Jacqueline centre and the Sophia in Ivory on the right are very 1930s hollywood and will never go out of fashion.

Finally, if you are looking for something a little simpler or to complete your up-style, the Avelina, Maria and Belle might just be the perfect choice and can be worn time and time again.
