Good morning everyone, hope you are very well and enjoyed your weekend. Quite hard to believe that we are into October already, I don’t know where the time is going but it’s quite scary! I was meant to take on a mega cleaning spree on Saturday but instead, I spent hours reading through old magazines, many of which covered stories of Kate Middleton and the lovely William both pre and post nuptials last year. I’m a Kate fan and although I think she can sometimes dress a little too old for her age when going about their day to day Royal engagements, I’ve yet to see her go wrong on the red carpet and for me, it was her second wedding dress that really caught my eye last year and all because of the beautiful sparkly bridal belt. Later in the year, another McQueen gown and another beautiful belt saw her stealing the show at the BAFTAs and it inspired me to do a bit of bridal research on beautiful belts. Whether it’s to cinch in your waist or to add some definition to your bridesmaid dresses, there are gorgeous options out there and we have rounded up a few of our favourites.

So, from elegant crystal sashes to the bohemian belt, we have rounded up some of our favourite wedding belts. First up, we are swooning over Kirsten Kuehn and her stunning bridal belt collection. It was hard to pick just three.

Kirsten Kuehn

Never go wrong with Jenny Packham and her timeless collection of wedding accessories. I particularly love the gold beaded feather belt on the left, so delicate and incredibly pretty.

Below are two of Nicole Miller’s bridal sashes I am really drawn to the one on the left, I’ve a complete obsession with antique gold and I think this belt would stand the test of time.

If your looking for something a little more fun, bohemian or hoping to add a pop of colour around your waistline, you are nearly always guarenteed to find something on the highstreet or on mega online stores such as ASOS. The gold belt on the left is actually a bit of a splurge, it is Prada after all and can been bought online from Laprendo but I’ve seen at least four highstreet copycats in the last 15 minutes searching online. I love this brown leather and feather belt from ASOS for a real bohemian bride and this Moschino heart belt will do the talking.

The best thing about adding a sash or belt to your dress, you will definitely be able to wear it again and again so it will always be an investment whatever you decide to spend. You could even DIY something more meaningful by picking up some beautiful ribbon and adding a family heirloom such as a treasured brooch, Are you tempted to keep the dress simple and add to it a pretty sash instead? We would love to hear your thoughts. Enjoy the rest of your Monday girls.

Lovely post girls – I think an unusual belt is a beautiful addition to a dress (and one that you can wear again with other dresses). They’re like a gorgeous necklace for your dress!

Completely agree Aisling, I love that they make such a beautiful and wearable keepsake after the wedding and what a lovely thing to hand down the family too.
