As you all probably know I’m in love with Italy, it’s where myself and Alan were married and honeymooned and where I dream of returning to at least once a day. When I saw these images of Angela and Mark’s wedding I couldn’t help but be nostalgic about our wedding last year.
An Irish/Australian couple, Angela and Mark chose to travel to Santa Maria di Castellabate, Italy with their family and friends to celebrate their very special day. The vibrant fuchsia, luxurious metallics, stunning views, glorious sunshine and that dress! Wow…
We have a FAB island wedding to keep you going this weekend. Although not a destination wedding we had to share as we think Martha’s Vineyard is a wonderful location for a destination wedding.
Everything about this wedding is so much fun and so relaxed, the vibrant flowers, the grooms salmon pink trousers, the scooter… every wonderful detail has been captured by One Eleven Images.

Frank proposed to Cinthia on the beach, her ring awaiting inside a conch shell. It was laying on the beach for her to pick and discover the treasure inside. For their engagement shoot they returned to the sea but this time on a beautiful sailboat and brought that very special shell with them.
The beautiful weather has me thinking about Summer style, and more accurately what I will pack for Rome and the honeymoon outfits I should be thinking about. The city in July will be very warm and we’ll be there for five days in all for our wedding, before heading down to coast for our honeymoon. I think every bride getting married abroad wants to look and feel great on the lead up to and on the days after their wedding.
So I’ve been doing a bit of online ‘window shopping’, here are my picks for Summer Style in the City…

I think it’s fair to say that Mila Kunis was the winner of the style stakes at the Oscars this year waring a beautifully romantic Elie Saab gown from the Couture Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. The lavender chiffon gown with tiered lace detailing and grosgrain ribbon waist accentuated her stunning figure to perfection!

These dusty pink dresses would make s stunning alternative to the traditional white wedding gown.
I am a huge fan of Jenny Packham wedding dresses, my own wedding gown is a Jenny Packham and I have to pinch myself when I say that! When I see her gowns I just swoon, and her Spring 2011 collection is no different. Although it’s not her bridal collection I think any of these dresses would make a stunning destination wedding gown and would be quite happy to wear any of the following. They will really stand the test of time and the best part if you opt not to wear white, is you have a piece of art to wear over and over again.
