Our real wedding today is set in the most romantic city, filled with fun details and a couple who are seriously in love, with some mouthwatering sweet stuff at the end.. so basically, it pretty much has it all? Audrey and Julien traveled to the city of love for their wedding with friends and family. They decided to have their first look on the Ponts des Arts bridge (the one with all the little padlocks) before their ceremony, and Annie from MADfotos was there to capture the moments:

Italian Country Style ✈ Destination Wedding in Tuscany
Kate and Jason’s dream of a small intimate destination wedding in Tuscany came true one sunny and warm day in September, after a year of planning all the way from Australia. Kate was very clear about the idea she had of the perfect wedding- olive trees, vineyards, a view of rolling hills, good and genuine local food, excellent wine, and a relaxed atmosphere. Everything went pretty much to plan on the day, as you’ll see from the photos. As their excellent photographer Lelia Scarfiotti says, “A bride getting ready in the turret of an ancient stone farmhouse, a touching and intimate celebration in a little country church, a long table decorated with wildflowers and surrounded by love and smiles, a few romantic decorative details, the terrific light of a breathtaking Tuscan sunset, and finally a wonderful party under the light of the full moon- purely Tuscany. Simply perfect.”
An Elegant Elopement ✈ Destination Wedding in Rome
Weddings are never easy decisions. Well, deciding to marry the one you love usually isn’t a difficult decision, but exactly how to do it is a different story. Our gorgeous couple today, Kate and Brian, started planning a traditional wedding in Texas before changing their plans completely and eloping to Rome. We are thankful- if only for the completely selfish reason that we get to feature their beautiful elopement photos! I have to say, if this was my wedding I would have every single photo framed on the wall. More of the couple’s story and their decision to go for a destination wedding in Rome below.

A Tuscany Romance ✈ Destination Wedding in Florence
A beautiful sunny Tuscan evening. A Jenny Packham dress. Recipe for the perfect wedding? We think so! Sarah and Chris got married in Florence with their photographer Cinzia Bruschini on hand to capture the relaxed atmosphere with some great shots. The couple chose to have a destination wedding in Florence to avoid having to conform to traditional wedding expectations, and Italy seemed the perfect choice as it both modern but still laid back and friendly. They fell in love with Il Salviatino as a venue because.. well, you’ll see why!
Friday’s Fab 5 ✈ One Shouldered Dresses
Hi all and a Happy Friday to you! I’m sitting here writing this blog post with the fire lit and the lighting low. I love the warmth a real fire gives to a room. This week has given us loads of fantastic inspiration and has really lifted our spirits in this chilly weather. We bring you some summery one shouldered dresses to brighten your Friday below, but first our weekly recap. On Saturday we saw one of my favorite Saturday songs, by Bright Eyes. We then saw some lovely and really pretty Italian wedding traditions on Monday. One of the traditions is sugared almonds – YUM!

On Tuesday we saw such a beautiful engagement session set in London. The photographer Ross Dean captured the happy couple in all the favourite spots of London. I adore London and if I could go there every weekend I would! The Wednesday Wishlist this week had us talking about the perfect shaped engagement ring. We saw some BEAUTIFUL diamonds. I spoke last week about my love of sparkly things so I adored this blogpost. I genuinely couldn’t tell you which is my favourite but I do know I’d personally like a thin band with a nice sized solitaire diamond. That’s the beauty of engagement rings, every one is different and has a different story behind it.

Yesterday we saw An English tea in the Desert anniversary shoot. The Bride and Groom got married in Australia six years ago but this shoot was taken by photographers The Emerics in the desert in Las Vegas. We think it’s pretty cool!
We saw some amazing weddings from all around the world this week. Here are our FAB 5:
✈ A pomegranate farm in South Africa
✈ An elegant Australian affair
✈ Shades of pale pink and peach
Friday Fashion ✈ One Shouldered dresses
If you like strapless dresses but would like a bit more coverage on your big day then a one shouldered dress could be an option for you. They show off collarbones and shoulders beautifully and can look really elegant. With my research for this I found that not all one shouldered dresses have to be the Grecian look. I think a lot of people have that Grecian image in their heads when they think of one shouldered dresses. The ones I found below prove that there are different types to suit everyone.

Plain Sailing ✈ Destination Wedding in Greece
We have another destination wedding in Greece for you today brought to us by the excellent photographer Anna Roussos, and this one has lots of blue sea, white details, and a couple that are obviously mad about each other! Tyler and Iliana are a New York couple who flew to Greece to get married in the beautiful Bay of Vathi (isn’t that name so exotic?) in Sifnos. The celebrations lasted over three days as guests arrived from all over the world, and Anna the photographer said the family’s welcome made her feel like on of their own as she mingled amongst them. The Elies hotel hosted the wedding reception with a gorgeous view of the entire bay and surrounding mountains. The wedding day dawned clear and blue (as you’ll see!) and it was plain sailing from there…

A British Virgin Islands Destination Wedding by Viera Photographics
Today we have the pleasure of featuring Brian and Dawn’s Island wedding. Their wedding is full of beautiful details and wonderful touches but at the same time feels so relaxed and effortless. Captured by Viera Photographics you can’t help but see how in love this couple are, the grooms reaction to his bride walking up the isle, their guests tears and the emotion and joy in their eyes. Their photographer Jaime Viera tells us some more about the happy couple and their wedding celebrations…
Brian and Dawn are two of the most humble people we know and it was fitting that they should tuck their marriage celebration betwixt a week-long group adventure in the British Virgin Islands to deflect the attention from them. They chose well because every single one of the 32 people they invited left their kids, jobs and normal lives behind to celebrate with them… and what an amazing week it was!!
