Looking to submit content for consideration on Fly Away Bride? Here’s how…

Please email submissions@flyawaybride.com, please note that we only accept submissions at this address. For your submission to be reviewed you must include at least 15 photos and up to 100, at least 550 pixels wide, a description of the event, and a complete list of supplier credits.

Please be advised that it can up to 2 weeks for us to respond. If you haven’t heard back from us within 2 weeks since you submitted or if you have any questions please email pamela@flyawaybride.com

We love to highlight a wide variety of styles, budgets, cultures and destinations and are always looking for weddings that fall into the following categories; DIY Inspired, Budget Friendly, Modern and Fresh, Destination Inspired, Classic and Elegant, Whimsical and Charming, Eclectic, Vintage Inspired, Intimate.

Real Brides

We are always looking for real destination weddings to feature on our blog. If you would like us to feature your wedding please email us at submissions@flyawaybride.com and include the following:

1. Your Information: Bride and groom’s names and the date of your wedding.

2. Your Images: 25-100 images that you feel best highlight/reflect your wedding day. The images should be sent by email as jpgs or a zip file. We need individual images at least 550 pixels across to accommodate our blog width. We do not publish many black and whites unless it’s a feature on the photography. We do not publish images with distracting graphics, copyright logos should be discreet if included.

3. Your Story: When and where did you first meet, and how did you fall in love?

4. Your Wedding Destination: We would love to hear about your wedding destination, why did you pick your destination,what made it special to you? Did you have a wedding planner? What was the biggest challenge you had to overcome while planning your destination wedding? The more information and advice you could give for brides to be the better.

5. Your Wedding: We’d love to hear about your vision.What unique touches did you include in the wedding in order to make it more personal? What was the best decision you made?

6. Your Vendors: Please list all applicable vendors that you would like us to credited eg. bridal dress, bridal shoes, grooms suit, bridesmaid dresses and shoes, jewellery, grooms-men’s suits, hair, makeup, stationary, flowers,centerpieces, tableware etc. We must have a photography credit to consider your wedding for publication

Suppliers

We are always looking for new and exciting vendors who are supplying the destination wedding industry. If you have a real wedding, elopement, engagement session, love shoot, first look, inspiration shoot, event, or something extra special that you think would be perfect for Fly Away Bride, please email us at submissions@flyawaybride.com and include the following:

1. Information: Your company name, your name, the date and destination of the wedding and the couple’s names.

2. The Images: 25-100 images that you feel best highlight/reflect your wedding day. The images should be sent by email as jpgs or a zip file. We need individual images at least 550 pixels across to accommodate our blog width.

We love destination inspired photos as they reflect the theme of our blog best. Detail shots (favors, cakes, fashion, invitations, florals, etc.) are very important in considering the wedding for publication, though we also like to see images of the bride and groom and the overall wedding style.

4. The Wedding: We love to hear details about the wedding. The more information you can give us about the wedding, the better.

5. The Vendors: Please list all applicable vendors that you would like us to credited eg. bridal dress, bridal shoes, grooms suit, bridesmaid dresses and shoes, jewellery, grooms-men’s suits, hair, makeup, stationary, flowers,centerpieces, tableware etc. If a vendor is not credited up front, we will be unable to go back and add the credit at a later date.

DIY Projects

We are always looking for creative DIY projects to inspire our readers. If you have a crafty idea that you think would be perfect for Fly Away Bride, please email us at submissions@flyawaybride.com and include the following:

1. Information: You name/company name and contact details.

2. Ingredients: A detailed list of items needed for the project.

3. The Recipe: A step by step guide how to complete the project.

4. The Images: Images documenting each step. The images should be sent by email as jpgs or a zip file. We need individual images at least 550 pixels across to accommodate our blog width.

5. The Vendors: Please list all applicable vendors that you would like us to credit.
