Victoria and Luca got married in South Tyrol last July. Victoria’s heritage is Japanese and American, while Luca is Italian- the couple’s choice to be wed in the Italian Dolomites sprang from the fact that Luca’s family originates from the picturesque area of Merano. The beautiful ceremony was held in the baroque and appropriately named St. Valentine’s church, following which guests retired for the reception to Schloss Rubein, a medieval twelfth century castle. As a stunning backdrop for the aperitif the Schloss offers a huge park with a pool and the view of the surrounding Tyrolean mountains. The guests sampled aperitifs while viewing the scenery including the fragrant alleys of the park. Victoria and Luca planned most of their international celebration themselves, entrusting the main parts of the day to professionals. Captured by Maria Martus Photography, Victoria and Luca’s stunning South Tyrol destination wedding is a delight to behold.
