This hardy Scotland Wedding palette is inspired by the colourful and wild landscapes of Scotland’s countryside, the moodiness of the weather and the strong earthy tartan textures so prominent in Scottish design.  We have been slowly making our way around Europe to bring you wedding colour and design inspiration that really responds to the locality and natural setting and today, we have also mixed in some Scottish Wedding Traditions into the inspiration board to add another element to your Scottish wedding vision. For this palette, we chose grey and blue tones to reflect the sometimes stormy coastal weather and paired it with the earthy soil and the grassy greens of the lush fields, incorporating thistles, a variety of textures and not forgetting the most important, whiskey bar to bring it life. Although a darker wedding palette for sure, it still has a freshness to it. In the interest of complimenting the scenery we opted for the green, navy and brown tartan options and stayed clear of bright reds and oranges. These can be quite jarring in the wrong setting and work better when paired with browns and warmer tones.
