Our destination-inspired wedding palette series so far has touched on Paris, Barcelona, Iceland and Montenegro and today we’re channelling the amazing Greek island of Santorini. Google “most beautiful island in the world” and you’ll find Santorini on pretty much every list. Dramatic scenery, panoramic ocean views and world famous sunsets make this island wholeheartedly deserve such a title. Whether you’re lucky enough to get married here or want to capture the beautiful warm light that is so renowned, this is the perfect wedding palette for you. The sunlight here has a beautiful peachy hue which is complemented so well by grey-blue and a toned down sage green. Neutrals added are ivory and the very palest peach-pink; think whitewashed walls reflecting sunlight. There are no truly dark shades here, as you’ll find the hazy light on Santorini island keeps even shadows pale. A touch of gold here and there can be used to great effect with this palette, and keep florals warm peach and off-white without too much greenery. Don’t overload on details: once again, your setting is your star so let it shine through! If you’re looking for more inspiration, don’t miss these beautiful destination weddings in Santorini that we’ve featured.
