Hope you had a nice weekend! We were busy organising the 41st wedding of 2People1Life which we hope to be able to share with you very soon and we are super excited about! So many great Irish vendors are involved and so much work has gone into the event, which is tomorrow and we can’t wait. But today I’d like to share some images I put together for the type of wedding decor that has been on my mind. I’ve been thinking about a wedding “look” for the past while and feeling that while obviously I will want to look my best and to have all the decor looking great on the day, I don’t want to overdo it either. While I love metallics and want to bring them into the colour scheme, at the same time I want to avoid any gaudiness. My idea is to have luminescent touches of opal, moonstone or mother of pearl, and to offset any harshness of metallics with almost-neutral dove gray and honey shades. The gray-blue flower hairpiece below would make a gorgeous crown for the slightly metallic gown in the middle. I also love the way the gray-blue shade brings out the colour of the model’s eyes- this is a great way to enhance your look, if you can (I always envy anyone with a vibrantly coloured eyes!) The opal in the ring below catches the light and gives the stone a warm glow- in the same way I think an iridescent rather than a flashy look is what brides strive for. You’ll be glowing from the inside and it won’t take a whole lot to enhance this. A few bright touchers here and there should be enough!

I’m so in love with this beautiful board! What a perfect color combination! Moonstone is so romantic, and “quietly luminous” is exactly how I would describe it.

GORGEOUS inspiration board. And the title is SO perfect for it. The ring is a total knockout piece. Love!
