Morning readers! Hope you are finding the week passing well. We are having a heatwave in Ireland and of course I’m under the weather. To cheer myself up, I wanted to post this really bright, neon wedding inspiration palette with you. Neon is definitely not something I am too comfortable with but I had great fun putting this one together! If you are brave enough to consider a neon colour scheme for your wedding day then my own personal opinion would be to have stunning pops of colour rather than full on blinding shades everywhere. Paired with soft neutrals, brick walls, brown paper, burlap and linen, neon yellows, pinks and oranges look great. It’s a big fashion trend at the moment so look at shoes, nails, lippy and statement pieces of jewellery when styling your look. Ties, socks and cuffs are better places to add this brightness to the boys. When it comes to the wedding itself, set the fluro tone with stationary and continue subtly throughout table decor. Earthy tones alongside the pinks, oranges, yellows and green will give the look a more designer feel. It’s too easy to turn this look to tacky so proceed with caution and think about it hard. You don’t want your wedding to look dated in 3 years time, it will only work if it’s something you are really into.

Thanks Chrissy! I’m after getting a little hooked on the idea now myself! Would be lots of fun for a summer wedding!

Delicious! I don’t know if I could have pulled off a neon wedding, but every time I see these colors I love the idea a little more!

I am a bit like that Sukey, it’s a risky one but I’ve seen some done really well and they look so great! Only concern is that it would date too quickly!

  2. A Neutral Wedding Palette

[…] wedding. It’s easy on the eye with pretty and light hues reminiscent of sand. Like the neon palette we looked at recently, weddings featuring these neutral tones seem to be majorly on the increase. […]
