My other half wondered aloud when I started getting images together for this post why mint green is the colour it is, since the herb mint is a lot darker. It threw me a bit but on thinking about it I answered that I thought it was because it’s the way the colour tastes, there is an icy blue that you have to add to green to get it right. Would love to hear any other thoughts on this though! Set to be one of the colour trends of 2013, pair it with a dusky pink for a gorgeous wedding palette. Or simply go for a mint green wedding theme on its own, it’s such a lovely soft shade- easy on the eye we say!
