Based on the concepts of winter, the solitude of the sea and the joining of two lovers in sacred union, the vendors involved in this beautiful styled shoot set out to create an Italian winter wedding that was dreamlike and elegant but also unconventional. Captured by Matrimoni all’italiana, the setting for the shoot was the beautiful village of Varigotti, in Italy’s Liguria region. Located about an hour west of Genoa in northern Italy, Varigotti is coastal jewel of a town, inhabited by fishermen and traditional Italian coastal dwellers. The beautiful bride model wears a Duesì gown; a designer duo from Rome who make their fantastic creations by reimagining vintage pieces. The couple’s beachside wedding table was decorated with warm hues of pink and yellow with touches of gold and brass to contrast the coldness of a winter’s day. The repurposed chairs and vintage candlesticks were recovered from an old market, and the stationery was designed with a bohemian flair. Wedding planning by Agnese Sogna Sempre ensured that all was perfection on the day.
