JoAnne and Ben, from Ireland, travelled from Dublin to this amazing venue in the Barcelona hills last May. Captured by Mireia Navarro Photography and planned by PearlSandals, if you’re looking for a relaxed, intimate wedding that has the wow factor, this really is a celebration not to be missed. From JoAnne’s gold dress to the beautiful ceremony area outside and the multicoloured wedding palette, we love everything about this wedding: culminating in the beautiful reception overlooking Barcelona. As JoAnne and Ben are both huge music fans, they chose a wedding date last May to fit in with the Primavera Festival in Barcelona. The theme therefore was festival galore, and the couple’s celebration features all the colours of the rainbow: the bridesmaids, bunting and flowers, with JoAnne as the sun in gold. The ceremony featured a burning bowl where all present burned notes with something they wanted to let go of and something they wanted to evoke. All participated in the old Irish ring warming as well, sending love and positive energy to the couple through the rings. After the ceremony guests could sample different craft beers from Catalunya in the chiringuito in the venue’s garden, and instead of traditional cake, JoAnne and Ben had organised churros and chocolate at midnight. There is just so much to love about this wedding!
