A country manor house in Ireland is a romantic dream of a place to base a styled shoot, and the wedding session we have for you today was planned by Michelle Johnstone Clark from Waterlily Weddings. Steph and Dado from 5th Photography captured every gorgeous moment, worth clicking, pinning and revisiting time and time again. The setting was the incredible Tankardstown House, a beautiful country manor in county Meath about an hour north of Dublin. The house is situated amongst picturesque rolling green hills with lovely garden spaces including cascading layers of ancient yew trees and charming stone outbuildings, making this venue one of the country’s best.

The goal and vision for this shoot was to create a dream wedding with a colorful yet gentle bouquet of colors. The images are designed to inspire brides who love the South of France, dream about Tuscany, and fall for the beauty of Ireland. The summery florals were devised by Lamber and Mashy of Lamber de Bie Flowers, based in Kilkenny and Waterford. Their floral vision was based on a pastel palette with white accents to capture an Irish wildflower feel while instilling a South of France romance. The floral elegance of a country manor wedding needed to be there, but the enchantment, romance and flirtation flowers can provide was equally important. We particularly love the sublime floral crown! The bride’s elegant dress was designed by Edel Tuite, while the groom looks dapper in Remus Uomo, a gorgeous Italian-cut suit from Best Menswear.

The delicate cake by designer Rosanna of Cakes and Co, was styled with the floral centerpieces in mind. Bernette Dempsey of Vintage China Hire brought the props- the bicycle, lanterns and vintage tea sets, adding a country charm to the elegant feel. A glamourous touch was then thrown in by adding beautiful Sorrelli jewelry by Ellen of Leona Ruby, based in Iowa. The stationery was designed to tie the rural feeling of countryside of Ireland to the more urban feel of the country manor in a fresh and original way, created by Jenn of Black Tie Creatives. Golden pigs and lambs stood alongside the menus as table decorations and animal keepsakes in a linen pouch bearing the name of the bride and groom were used as guest favors. Shooting finished in the courtyard under the yew trees: the couple danced, walked and enjoyed each others’ company in the early evening light.
