After studying maths in college, I always hoped that I would never ever have to deal with another obtuse angle again. But of course the wedding world has come up trumps again and for the first time ever, I’m totally in love with triangles, perfect squares and not so perfect hexagonal shapes – if only Professor Redmond had covered them in gold back in the day! Today we are studying geometric wedding ideas, a cool and modern wedding look that I just can’t get enough of! Sharp edges have never been so much fun. This look is so versatile, it can be subtle hints paired with more romantic details or all out dramatic with pops of neon. I’m pretty sure that the guys will appreciate this wedding style also, it’s not so girly but is still beautifully glamorous when put together in the right way. Small details like cufflinks and earrings, sharp patterned ties and even wedding rings will give you an edge and if you want more drama, a well structured wedding gown will certainly do the trick. In decor, it’s all about the multi faceted vases, geo patterned stationary and garlands. The best thing though, is that it’s so easy to recreate and you will find plenty of DIY ideas for this look.
