We never get bored of all the beautiful things out there. Our world is full of such beautiful inspiration that sometimes we forget to take a step back and look around. This week we saw so many amazing weddings, dresses, destinations and inspiration that it was tough condensing it all down for our blog posts this week! I’ve been collecting ideas for wedding veils and have some for you below but first, our recap. Last Saturday we had our Saturday song from the band Frightened Rabbit. The song has a great beat and will have your feet tapping. We looked at some Labyrinth inspiration on Monday. Love the image we used of a young Jennifer Connolly, stunning. Tuesday, we looked at a destination wedding in Provence where the couple felt that a “less is more” approach was appropriate for planning their destination wedding in Provence, since it is so beautiful. The Wednesday Wishlist showed our favorites from New York bridal week. The creations are STUNNING and left us lusting after them. Yesterday we had a look at another destination wedding, this time in Mexico, a beautiful colourful affair.

Friday Fashion ✈ Wedding Veils

Some people choose to wear them, some people don’t. It depends on the person and their preference. In some cultures the wedding veil is used to protect a bride from being seen by other men before the wedding takes place. Back in Roman times it was thought that the wedding veil warded off evil spirits. Nowadays, some people see wedding veils as a sign of purity, whereas other people just see it as a decoritive feature to compliment their wedding dress. Whichever way you like to look at it veils are a beautiful addition to a wedding ensemble.

There are so many different types of veils and I chose a few below.
