Where the heck did that week go? An incredibly busy one by all accounts and all three of us are snowed under right now. I was first to finish up yesterday evening and Roisin had an event at 6am this morning so I figured, give the gal a break! I’m up to my eyeballs in gold spray paint busy preparing for our first wedding tomorrow. It’s taking place in Castle Leslie in Co. Monaghan and I just cannot wait to get up there this evening. A truly beautiful venue for sure and the team there seem so lovely. I get to meet Shane O’Neill again from Aspect Photography, the absolute genius behind our Mythical Tune Shoot last year. I’m praying that the weather will ease up, it’s pretty grim here at the moment and I don’t fancy it one bit, not after a beautiful week of looking at sunny weddings and fabulous locations! Incase you missed what we were up to this week, here is our Friday recap!
On Monday, Amy gave us the low down on Ibiza. It’s a pretty popular destination wedding location and a real crowd pleaser so if you are mad for a good party or want to escape to the outskirts and enjoy this island in peace and quiet – check out our destination wedding guide to Ibiza. On Tuesday we jetted off to Hvar, Croatia. The destination wedding of Foret and Richie by Sarah Falugo was out of this world and actually inspired our colour inspiration post on Wednesday. Foret is my type of bride and I’ve a feeling I’ll be looking back on that wedding for a long long time. I can’t find words to describe yesterdays couple. I just loved their story but I’m very glad Brian never took Kate on that date to the bathroom as it might never have ended up with them eloping to Rome. Another beauty by Rochelle Cheever, we never expect anything else from her!
So hello Friday. Other gorgeous couples we couldn’t stop admiring all week were the following five.
Girls. Please find below, my favourite wedding dress in the entire pinosphere. I’m sure many of you have seen it before, but I am happy to look at it all day, every day. It is my absolute favourite.
I just had to share some more dresses from the maker of the cinderella dress above, Paolo Sebastian. I’m sure some people have noticed my loyalty towards illusion fabrics and heavily embellished arms and necklines and perhaps my undying love for anything made by Elie Saab. Well – I’d be quite happy to make room in the closet for one of these pieces of art but it would mean having to take a trip to Australia, hardly a bad thing if you have the money.
If I had it, I’d be there tomorrow but for now, I’ll have to stare and dream. Enjoy the rest of your day, and have a great weekend! x
