Happy Friday everyone! We’ve had really annoying weather the last few days, one minute I’m wearing my sunglasses and the next I have my umbrella out, it’s very annoying when trying to plan your work outfit on a daily basis! I just checked my iPhone for the weather and apparently it’s going to be a nice day tomorrow… Fingers crossed! On Monday Amy looked at wedding venues in Bruges. With its winding cobbled alleys, peaceful canals and all its art and culture it would be perfect for a destination wedding.

Wedding Venues BrugesOn Tuesday we saw a beautiful wedding in France. It was in Château des Buis, situated in the Rhones-Alps region of France. and was captured by Belle Momenti Photography. The couple were delighted with the beautiful venue.

French Chateau WeddingWe had another post on Tuesday where we looked at unique veils and headpieces. The stunning headpieces and veils by Jannie Baltzer are inspired by 1920′s Hollywood and French Bohemianism of the early 1900′s. All of her creations are one of a kind as she uses French and Edwardian lace combined with one-off vintage finds.

Unique Wedding Veils and Hair PiecesOn Wednesday Lindsay looked at  incorporating edible flowers into your food and cocktail hour at your wedding. She looks at different options and tips if you are thinking about it.

Edible FlowersYesterday saw a very unusual destination wedding on safari in Africa. The couple, Maureen and Chad wanted to have an unusual destination wedding and decided on Africa. They exchanged vows in a city ceremony in Chicago, they had Nordica Photography follow them to the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. Incredible photos!

Friday Fashion ✈ Gold Shoes

Gold has seen such a good year on the wedding front and I for one haven’t tired of it yet. In fact, I have this compulsion to add it to every outfit at the moment! Incorporating it into wedding decor is one thing but tying it in with your wedding dress? Well that’s another! The great thing about going for gold shoes is that you can wear them again and again with any outfit so it justifies the expense, especially if you are splashing out on Jimmy Choos! Having said that, you are always going to find great options on the high street and online so we have gone virtual shopping and have pulled together a few of our strappy favourites. I’m a big strappy shoe fan in general – I just find them easier to walk in and they make my far from perfect pins look a little less far from perfect…

Gold Wedding Shoes
