So the first week in October is over and that chill is in the air. Bring on the new year we say and we take a look at designer bridal trends we’re looking forward to seeing below. First though we’ll try and keep you distracted with some sunny images here in our look back on the week! In case you missed it at the weekend, our song was the lovely Bella by Angus and Julia Stone. We started off Monday then with a bit of sparkle by looking at bridal belts to add to your wedding dress. Tuesday we visited Florence for a romantic vow renewal with Rosapaola Lucibelli Photography… ahhh, the Duomo in the background and the gorgeous dusk light:
Wednesday we thought about incorporating blue willow china patterns into our wedding decor (would work as something old and blue as well). Yesterday we had major sunshine envy looking at Lizzy and Dominic’s Lake Como wedding by Riccardo Bestetti.
So that leaves us ready to share the weddings we loved this week:
✈ Dapper garden party – Glamourous dresses and the bride’s flower crown is to die for! (below)
✈ Sorrento destination wedding – Portraits in the city streets with beautiful sunset light.
✈ Rustic Arizona wedding – Colourful details that really pop.
✈ Log cabin DIY – Fun portraits and pretty pastel bridesmaid dresses.
✈ Manhattan wedding -Very sweet. The bride’s dress was custom made!

We thought we’d share a few designer bridal dresses we’re looking forward to seeing next year:
Sanyukta Shrestha‘s 2013 collection is inspired by Wallis Simpson (Edward VIII’s beau) and the one we love is called the Cynthia. We love the satin. And the gloves. And button details…
Carol Hannah is always a good bet, and we’ve had our eye on that Pemberley dress since her 2013 collection was announced.
This pretty gown from Stephanie Allin is inspired by the romance of Morocco, with soft flowing lines and traditional undertones. Has a dress caught your eye for next year yet? Happy Friday!
