Hope you all had a really lovely week, it’s very scary how fast the year is going and that May is just around the corner. Here is our weekly round up, just incase you missed us during the week.

On Monday, Love was in the Air with whimsy hot air balloon wedding inspiration. Therese Aherne spoiled us on Tuesday with a picturesque wedding outside Cannes in France. On Wednesday, we took our first look at Scottish Wedding Venues before hitting the beach yesterday with a beautiful, sun kissed wedding in California.

We are always trying to keep an eye out for new trends and one we have been inspired by lately is the use of embroidery hoops. I think I love them because they remind me of my grandmother and her crafty hands but as well as that, I think they are so versatile and have such an impact. We have created more of an inspiration board today to show 5 different ways you can style your wedding using these lovelies that luckily for us and our purse strings, come relatively cheap;

Decor ✈  Ceremony backdrops, hanging / wall decor and chair backs

Rings ✈ An alternative to the ring pillow and very easy to make, just pick your favourite colour thread and tie!

Signage ✈  Menu, dessert table signage and gorgeous  guest book ideas

Table numbers ✈ Very easy to make using things like buttons or by sewing numbers on, you can even draw them by hand!

Gifts ✈ Whether it’s for your other half, from your guests or to them as favours, they will make gorgeous keepsakes for years to come

Embroidery hoops would also make beautiful table runners using different sizes in your wedding colour palette. You could also achieve eye catching seating plans or photographic displays simply by stitching / safety pinning name cards or old family pictures to your favourite fabric.
