Lara and Fritz, from the US, married in Texas before traveling to Italy for an incredibly romantic honeymoon. They visited Rome, Florence, Positano and the Amalfi Coast, in the process hitting upon some of the most beautiful spots in Italy. During their stay in Positano, they asked Moumou Photography to join them and capture some of their favourite moments. Check out the stunning panorama from the Hotel Il San Pietro di Positano, and we love the colourful sun umbrellas on the beach!

CHOOSING THE LOCATION

“We met at a local bar almost four years ago and ended up getting married in Dallas, Texas where we currently reside. For our honeymoon, we wanted a combination of relaxation and activity, and we felt that Italy was the perfect location to do both. We visited Positano, Rome and Florence. The highlight of the trip was getting out of the car at our hotel in Positano and seeing the cliffs, the city and the beauty of it all and both of us realizing that we were in the most beautiful place either of us had ever seen.

ADVICE

Spend the extra money to upgrade your transportation wherever possible, especially on longer flights! Also if we were doing it again, we’d try to plan out our restaurant choices in advance. Positano was absolutely gorgeous and our favorite part of the trip was hiring a private driver to take us on a day trip up the coast. Other than that, our advice would be to figure out what you enjoy doing and spend your time on that activity. There are a million things to do and you won’t get to them all- you’re better off leaving your calendar relatively open and just enjoying each other!”

My fiancé and I have changed our plans of getting married in Dallas to actually getting married in Positano, Italy and than staying for our honey moon. Would you have any advice on hotels, more efficient places to fly to and maybe drive the rest of the way? Honestly, any tips and advice are more than welcome! Thank you for your time :)
