Amy and I have a keen interest in styling and are always on the look out for inspiration, especially when we are abroad! I’ve never been to Portugal but have always been enamoured with the beautiful azulejo tiles that are so often seen throughout Portuguese architecture. Royal blue and white can be quite a loud colour scheme, especially when they are treated as blocks of colour but incorporating ornate patterns such as azulejo or toile de jouy can have the complete opposite effect, breathing calmness and tranquility to such a strong palette. Of course it helps when your venue just happens to be a stunning Palace in Portugal with beautifully decorative walls already bringing your vision to life, as was the case for Carina and Joao who celebrated their wedding in style last year.  With an amazing team of vendors that included Piteira Photography and Como Branco, they just couldn’t go wrong.

The blue and white color scheme is just gorgeous. I love how it echoes both the tile work and the nautical setting! Her dress is just beautiful!
