We don’t often venture outside of Europe with our real wedding and styled shoot features but we just couldn’t resist today. This Atlas Mountain Wedding in Morrocco had to be shared for it’s beautiful Arabian feel. Shot about forty minutes from Marrakech in the Kasbah Bab Ourika, a boutique hilltop hotel, the talented team wanted to let the beautiful environment inspire the direction of the shoot and the result is a tranquil, calm desert setting with blue skies and palm trees – a complete contrast to what a typical Moroccan wedding would usually look like! The hotel, in the Ourika Valley overlooks a river, olive groves and has views of the mountain peaks. Because it is an eco friendly property (it is constructed of pisé and serves vegetables from it’s own garden), Virginie Faucher and Ma Colline – two of the maestro’s behind todays magic, wanted to incorporate a very “green” table with traditional handmade pottery from Morocco, wild flowers, touches of orange and yellow to reflect the growth in the area and natural tables and chairs. The result is a triumph and we are just dying to share it with you.
