Today I am going to share with you three gorgeous wedding venues that have an authentic rustic feel.. in fact they might just make you want to pack your bags!”
Agreco is a fairytale traditional estate, a replica of a 17th century lodge that features a traditional olive press, flour water mill, wine press and giant vat for grape crushing. The complex includes a church, a village square and quaint little store. The farm is located on a hilltop with a stunning backdrop of the sea- a picture perfect place for any type of celebration, especially a wedding! There is indoor seating in the traditional restaurant, the Agreco Taverna, which is known for its excellent cuisine using fresh and organic farm produce. The venue holds up to 60 guests inside with outdoor seating for up to 200 guests.
On Mount Psiloritis, right in the center of Crete, one can find the Enagron Ecoturism Village in the town of Axos. The beautiful grounds include cultivations such as olive groves, vineyards, vegetable gardens, fruit trees and the various local wild vegetation found on Crete. There are 32 apartments distributed over 12 independent buildings with other facilities combined harmoniously and laid out as a village. This venue can host an intimate wedding of up to 150 guests.
The Kapsaliana Village Hotel is nestled in an area of much natural beauty, surrounded as it is by the largest olive grove on the island of Crete. The hotel is actually a village itself with a group of stone buildings of Cretan and Venetian architecture clustered around the Olive Press which has been transformed into a lounge area for guests. The 17 distinctive guesthouses of the village each has its own unique aesthetic. A beautiful location for a destination wedding in Crete.
