By now you might have guessed that I am a little bit obsessed with Audrey Tatou (that is, if you managed to catch our post on French Style) so you might not be surprised to learn that Amélie is probably my favourite film of all time! It was only a matter of time before I featured the film on another Wishlist and today I’m putting forth some wedding inspiration based on.. All Things Amélie!
What I love above about Amélie (as well as the brilliant storyline) is the cinematography and the atmospheric way it was shot- as if every scene were a painting. It was nominated for this along with four other categories at the 2002 Oscars.
In case you want to know how to make creme brûlée cupcakes like the ones above- they would be a great addition to your wedding dessert table (don’t they look delicious?)
Lots of things you can do with photos to include your guests- you could have a polaroid camera passed around to make an instant guestbook, or set up a photo booth- guaranteed to get a few laughs!
If you haven’t seen the film obviously I highly recommend it!
