Hello and a very happy Friday to you all! I feel like my feet haven’t touched the ground in the last few weeks as I’ve been so busy. I think Lindsay and Amy are of the same feeling! I am going to enjoy some very chilled out time this weekend as have another busy week ahead next week. Hope you all have nice things planned? We have put together some beautiful posts this week, let’s recap. On Monday we looked at crepe paper flowers, how and where you can use / style them and how you can make them!
Our second post on Monday was on beautiful calligraphy wedding invitations. We looked at hand crafted and bespoke letterpress. Tuesday we shared the wedding of Emma and Hagos in Rome.
Our wonderful second post on Tuesday saw us sharing a travel themed engagement session captured beautifully by Tasha Prescott Photography and planned by Celebrations by Paula.
Wednesday saw some travel inspired wedding invitations and some beautiful dresses from Chaviano Couture. Not only do they have amazing dresses but they give 20% of their proceeds to mission projects and charities around the world- their 2013 collection charity fund goes to Haiti orphanages. Here is my favourite piece of the 2013 collection.
Yesterday saw the first wedding we’ve featured from Slovenia. The ceremony was held in the beautiful garden of Ipavčeva house in Šentjur, with the reception at LaStoria restaurant in Celje. The moments were captured by MK Photography.
In our second post of the day yesterday Lindsay looked at five reasons why you should hire a wedding planner. She covered things that wedding planners can help you with such as; language barriers, local vendor knowledge and money matters.
The fab weddings we loved this week are:
✈ A Parisian themed Seattle wedding
Friday Fashion ✈ Yellow Inspiration
I was doing some research and I couldn’t help but notice how eye catching yellow dresses are. They’re so vibrant and beautiful. Whether you’re wearing a casual dress, if you’re a wedding guest, a bride looking at yellow for bridesmaid dresses or going to a ball, I think we should all take advantage of wearing yellow when the days are brighter (maybe not so often in Ireland!) and the evenings are longer. Below I’ve put together some images I loved and thought they’d be nice for inspiration, if not to just to brighten up your day.
Have a FAB weekend.
